Memory Optimizer

Privacy Policy

Memory Optimizer is local-first. Tabs, sessions, cleanup history, settings, and vault records are stored in the user's browser by default.

Effective date: August 18, 2026

Overview

Memory Optimizer helps users free RAM, save and restore browser sessions, and manage an encrypted local password vault. NHR Soft does not operate a backend that receives the user browsing data, passwords, or identity during normal extension use.

Data Stored Locally

The extension may store saved tab sessions, cleanup history, memory statistics, vault entries, extension settings, and threat/autofill event history in local browser storage such as IndexedDB and chrome.storage.

Password Vault

Vault entries are encrypted locally with AES-256 under a master password controlled by the user. NHR Soft cannot recover a forgotten master password and cannot decrypt vault contents.

Optional Network Features

Fresh installs make no network requests by default. Optional checks can contact Google Safe Browsing, Have I Been Pwned, or RDAP services only when the user enables those checks. HIBP receives only the first five characters of a SHA-1 password hash prefix, never the plaintext password.

Optional Cloud Sync

Cloud sync is off by default. If a user explicitly enables it, encrypted data can sync through the user connected account. Nothing syncs unless the user turns the feature on.

What We Do Not Do

Memory Optimizer does not run advertising, does not identify users with analytics, does not sell user data, and does not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

User Control and Deletion

Users can review and revoke optional permissions from the extension settings. Removing the Chrome extension removes its local extension storage from the browser profile.

Children Privacy

Memory Optimizer is not directed at children, and NHR Soft does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 or the equivalent minimum age in the user jurisdiction.
